Four out of every five North Americans will suffer from back pain at some point in their  lives.  Research shows that two out of every three people that experience back pain cannot even identify any  specific mechanism of injury, “it just happens”.  But WHY does it happen? Can it be controlled, managed, or prevented? As a physiotherapist, these are questions that my patients have been asking me since I started practising in 1998.
