Intended Participants:

  • People with chronic pain, especially those interested in connecting Western understanding of pain with body-mind-spirit practices of yoga.
  • Yoga teachers, yoga therapists and health care professionals wishing to enhance their work with people in pain.

**Participants suffering from persistent pain must be:
1) medically stable
2) able to manipulate steps
3) able to get up and down off the floor with relative ease
4) able to maintain standing balance independently, without assistance
