 Session Description:

Join Shelly as she guides you through an educational, inspiring and fun yoga practise implementing a variety of yoga therapy techniques such as meditation, breathing methods and various movements. Enjoy the opportunity to personally experience the components of a therapeutic yoga session, and what it feels like to address and nourish all of your layers of existence by using the biopsychosocial treatment approach.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participate in a yoga practise consisting of mindfulness meditation, breathing methods and a variety of postures and movements.

2. Experience the biopsychosocial treatment approach within the context of a therapeutic yoga session.

3. Understand & appreciate the value and some of the benefits of integrating yoga into physical therapy practise while enjoying the opportunity to take the time for some well deserved self-care.
